Anyone can join the server on tournament day — you don't have to be registered to play. But you can only win if you and your entire team are registered and approved beforehand. Read this all the way through before you sign up.
Registration Requirements
To register, your Steam account needs to meet all of the following. These are checked automatically when you register:
Your Steam profile must be set to public for the duration of registration checks — a private profile can't be verified and will be flagged for manual review.
Verification We Run
When you register, we collect your Steam ID, Discord ID, in-game Rust name, and team name. From there we automatically check:
- Steam account age and Rust playtime
- VAC bans, game bans, and previous ban history
- Whether that Steam ID has already registered (no duplicate entries)
- Signals suggesting an alternate account (e.g. matching registration details to an existing entry)
Anything that doesn't clearly pass gets held for manual review before your registration is confirmed — nobody gets auto-rejected on a borderline case without a human actually looking at it.
Point System
Every player and team on the server — registered or not — shows up on the live leaderboard. Only registered, approved players are eligible to actually win the prize.
| Action | Points | In Red Zone |
|---|---|---|
| Surviving (every 10 minutes) | 1 | x2 |
| Kill | 1 | x2 |
| Successful raid | 20 | x2 |
| Killing the current point leader | +3 | x2 |
End of Wipe Bonuses
Awarded once, 30 seconds before the tournament clock runs out:
| Category | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Top Raider | +50 |
| Best K/D | +50 |
| Most Kills | +50 |
Highest total points at the final buzzer wins. Check /leaderboard in-game anytime during the event, or watch it live on the homepage.
Fair Play
- No external software — aimbots, ESP, macros, scripts, auto-clickers. Any of it is an instant disqualification and ban.
- No exploiting bugs or glitches to gain an advantage.
- Teamkilling and self-raiding for points don't work — our system tracks who's played together (official teams and informal proximity) and blocks points earned off teammates automatically. It's enforced in code, not the honor system.
- No stream sniping — using another participant's live stream for positional intel is disqualifiable.
- No macros or auto-clickers, even if not "cheat software" in the traditional sense.
- Harassment or hate speech in chat or voice results in immediate disqualification, no warning.
Team Rules
- Solo, duo, or trio — max 3 per team.
- Your team roster is locked at registration. No swapping teammates mid-tournament.
- Registration closes 1 hour before the tournament starts. No late sign-ups once it's live.
- One Steam account per person — no account swapping mid-event.
Disputes & Technical Issues
- Admin decisions on scoring disputes are final.
- Suspicious activity is reviewed via replay before any disqualification is finalized — nobody gets DQ'd on a gut call alone.
- If the server has a major technical failure mid-event, admins may extend the timer or void affected scoring. Any changes are announced in Discord immediately.
Prize Claim
The winner has 48 hours to respond in Discord and provide payment details, or the prize rolls to the next-highest verified finisher. Payment is via PayPal or bank transfer, winner's choice — sent once identity and registration are reconfirmed. Payment details are only ever collected from the actual winner, never at registration time.
By registering, you agree to everything above and to Discord's Terms of Service (13+ minimum age applies).
